The Pace sisters are known for their incredible talent and uplifting gospel songs, but when Tamar Braxton decided to throw shade at one of them earlier this week, she unleashed another side to them. The sisters delivered what may very well be the classiest clapback of all time.
Duranice Pace recently taped a stirring rendition of “Amazing Grace” for Steve Harvey’s show and after it was shared on Instagram, Beyoncé’s mom Tina Lawson, reposted it on Sunday.
“A little Gospel this morning. Give God some praise today,” Tina captioned the now-deleted clip that had most social media users raving over Duranice’s vocals and anointing.
Tamar, however, chose to focus on the negative, writing:
“Yeah but the wig is stressing me out.”

DEFENDING HER SISTER
One of Duranice’s sisters LaShun Pace replied immediately in the comment section, making sure to slam the “Braxton Family Values” star with a scriptural shade.
“I love my oldest sister! With everything she has gone through in life she is yet singing through it all,” LaShun said. “Touch not mine anointed @tamarbraxton.”
A SECOND SISTER TAKES IT UP
But the clapback was far from over. Another Pace sister, Leslie, went on Facebook Live on Monday to address the issue.
“Tamar Braxton took it upon herself to be evil,” she began, before revealing that Duranice had to shave her hair because of the medication she was taking for undisclosed health issues.

"YOU REALLY DON'T LIKE BEING EVIL"
Leslie continued to point out Tamar’s hypocrisy and described her as “insecure:”
“Tamar always talking about “hallelu” and talking about Jesus. But I don’t think she understands Jehovah. …I get that you are insecure and you are hurting, so you want to hurt someone else. …I get it that when you hear anointing, it bothers you because you don’t have it. I can get with that. But the thing about the anointing my sister has, that yoke that’s in your life, if you let her sing and pray for you long enough, it will break off and you won’t be evil. Because I know that you really don’t like being evil but because it has gotten you so much attention to this day, then therefore you live in it.”
BACKLASH FROM FANS
“When your spirit is tainted and dark and hurt and bruised, the only thing that came out of you is dark, tainted, dark and bruised things,” Leslie added. “I knew that you needed help, but I just didn’t realize that it was really that deep that you would touch somebody that loves the Lord and was only trying to do good.”
Hordes of fans have also called out the latest “Celebrity Big Brother” winner over her remarks, labeling it “rude” and “unnecessary.”

MORE BACKLASH FOR TAMAR
Tamar is no stranger to courting controversy. Only a few days ago, she earned backlash from netizens after referring to herself as a “single mama.”
She used the term in the caption of an Instagram post and folks were quick to remind her that her estranged husband Vince is still very much present in the life of their son, Logan.
“Single mama vs. Single woman; 2 different meanings,” one user made sure to remind her.
The mom-of-one is yet to respond to the Pace sisters or say anything about her initial mean comment.
